Terms and Conditions

Lightsource is a trading name of Lightsource Mallorca SLU, headquartered at Carrer Xaloc, 20, Port de Pollença, Balears Province 07470, España.

1. Contract Formation

A binding agreement exists only after the customer's order is received, accepted, and full payment is received.

2. Terms of Sale

Product descriptions reflect website pricing at order time. Installations must use a qualified and/or competent individual. Dimension information is approximate guidance only.

3. Delivery

Customers must report damage or shortages within 48 hours of receipt. The company aims for estimated delivery dates but will offer alternatives or refunds if delays occur beyond their control.

4. Payment

Prices include VAT and delivery. Website orders charge immediately via Sagepay. Additional shipping charges may apply and require customer acceptance before order processing.

5. Cancellation Rights

Customers may cancel within 5 working days of receiving goods if unfitted. Bespoke items (custom lampshades, chandeliers) are non-returnable. Returns require original packaging; a handling charge of 20% applies for rejected goods.

6. Warranty

All goods except lamps carry 12 months protection from defects. Installation by unqualified electricians voids warranties.

7. Installation

Non-portable lighting requires qualified electrician installation per Building Regulations Part P.

8. Trade Customers

Trade customers are subject to higher returns fees (minimum 25%) with 3 days notification requirement.

9. Liability Limitation

Company liability caps at the purchase price.

10. Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Northern Ireland law.
